Volunteer with Us!
It’s great fun and so rewarding.

We rely totally on our fantastic team of volunteers to help our clients – and we always need more.

It doesn’t matter how little or how much time you have to offer – every little helps.

We do all kinds of things to help our clients – it may be dropping them at a medical appointment, picking up a prescription from the local chemist, or getting a bit of shopping for someone who can’t get out.

Sometimes we are asked to do a spot of gardening or some basic DIY, or simply help with tuning a new digital radio! We get all sorts of requests. And our clients are always so grateful. Contact us if any of this appeals to you.

We also run twice-weekly shopping bus trips to the local supermarket for those who can no longer get to the shops or carry their shopping home. As you can see, below, they have great fun too!

If you’d like to become one of our mini-bus drivers, we’ll pay for your training. Or you can volunteer as a helper on the bus (like Sally on the right of photo). It’s just a couple of hours on a Thursday or Friday morning.

We recognise the need for social activity and organise a number of outings every year visiting Bushy Park, Richmond Park, Pembroke Lodge, Squires, the Wetlands, the Poppy Factory, Kew Gardens etc. We also do theatre trips and boat trips, Christmas parties, as well as regular tea and coffee mornings.
